Numero Uno

Woohoo, this is our first post!!! As of today we have 8 months 3 weeks and 1 day until we get married ... not that we are counting ... heehee! We have so much to do and it feels as though time is quickly ticking away. Before we can continue to plan our wedding we both need to move. On March 1st Richard will be moving from the San Fernando Valley to our new apartment in Camarillo, California. I will be moving from the Washington DC metro area to California on March 16th. This is one road trip that will be out of control. Two humans and 2 cats in a MINI Cooper. God, grant us the ability to not kill each other!!

This past weekend Richard came to visit me. He was here for less than 48 hours but we filled every moment with memories. On Saturday we had "engagement" photos taken by my friend, Glenn. Many of the "spring scene" photos were taken at the US Botanic Garden in Washington DC. Believe me, you will have no problem deciphering between the Botanic Garden pictures and the outside pictures. We are only Glenn's 2nd job/client but we think he did a fabulous job. See for yourself ...

Saturday night we met up with some of my closest DC friends for dinner. I was eager for them to meet Richard and for Richard to meet them. This is a great group of people ...

Seriously, if you ever find yourself in DC you should look these folks up. I love them all for their own special reasons. Especially that guy in the back on the right ... heehee!

Be well,
Asya

Thanks for keeping me in the loop on your wedding plans. Apparently an affinity for computer technology is something else you two have in common.

As for me, I'm already exhausted just figuring out how to post a comment--ha ha. But keep it coming, I'll be popping in often to check out the latest Robinson-Rose shenanigans!

Those pictures are so adorable. You two look so happy. The Botanical Gardens make a great background for the pictures.

I'm sorry that I missed the dinner, too.
