This makes me laugh a bit because back in the day, read as "when I was thinner", people would compare me to the "One time, at band camp ... " girl. I don't see a resemblance but it is funny she turned up in my Celebrity Look-alike Collage. I guess I should just be glad I don't look like a man ... heehee!

Lady and the Tramp

This past weekend Mojo's girlfriend, Peluche, spent the night. He was beside himself with excitment although you would never know it. Mojo is very laid back but a definite attention whore. Here is a video of Mojo and Peluche "wrestling":




Some would think we were having Chihuahua fights in our apartment. Alas, it was only some four legged lovers enjoying eachothers company.

In other news, today has been one of those Monday's where you wish you could just crawl back into bed. This morning on the way to work my flat tire indicator came on. MINI Purl has run flat tires so it is never easy to figure out which tire is the culprit. After I get the tire squared away with some air I head back out on the road. Ten minutes later I was pulled over for doing 71 in a 55mph. Thankfully the police officer could see I wasn't having the greatest of days and let me off with a warning. Bad things usually happen in 3's so now I am just waiting for what may happen next. Waaaahhhhh!!!!

After much hee-hawing Richard bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue SL AWD last night. We really needed a bigger car. MINI Purl is fun but she doesn't offer much room. You can't even see MINI Purl behind the new car...heehee!

A Hiking We Will Go

This past weekend we took Mojo on his first hike. We went to Escondido Canyon State Park in Malibu, or The Bu as we like to call it. Mojo was a trooper. He hiked the whole trail, through streams and up hills. He was definitely the smallest dog on the trail that day. At the end of the trail you come to a waterfall. Although very pretty visually, it smelled like sulfate. YUCK!!! Sadly the most difficult part of the day was hiking up the hill to get to the trail.

After our hike we headed over to Malibu Country Mart for some grub. As is usually the case people see Mojo and they want to touch him and know why kind of dog he is and we usually oblige and let them pet him then tell him he is a Mini Chocolate Lab. The look on peoples faces are hilarious. Sometimes they believe us and sometimes they don't. We like to keep them wondering ... heehee!
