Say Hello To ...

Happy Mothers Day! I hope all of you mothers out there are having a fabulous day. We just returned from brunch with Mama Rose, Eric, and Christy. The food was yummy and the table conversation was delightful as always!

As I previously hinted, we have a new addition to our family. I have yet to name her but I think "Pearl" has a nice ring to it. If you have a name to add to the list let me know!

That is Hillary my sales rep. Can you tell I was excited? My yet to be named MINI is a 2007 MCS, Pepper White / Pepper White. I hope Sweet Caroline finds a good home and someone who will treat her right in her old age. Hmmm...perhaps I should name my new MINI "Sweet Caroline II" ... heehee!

Gussy and Jack are living the life of Riley. They love the California sunshine and the lizards that frequently run across the patio. Never a dull moment with these two around.

We Are Not Getting Married

Salutations!

Wow, I can't believe it has been over a month since I last posted. Where did the time go?!?! So much has happened in the past month. First and for most, we are not getting married ... on Catalina Island. Our decision has nothing to do with the recent fires on the island. Our decision was based on logistics. Quite honestly, the logistics of having a wedding on an island was just too complicated. So we are back to square one. No date. No location. Rest assured, we are working on it!!!

Another bit of great news, I got a job 2 weeks after arriving in California ... woowoo! I am the new (only) Executive Assistant / Office Manager for a private equity firm in Westlake Village. I LOVE my new job. Sure, some days I come home and want to ring the neck of the first male I see but other days I am so happy I just want to skip down the lane. My new job is about 20 miles home base but when you drive a MINI you don't mind the commute. Not to mention my hours are awesome; 9:30a - 6:30p. Friday I spent the day lounging around the pool of a multi-million dollar house in Beverly Hills. Yeah, I live the tough life ... heehee!

Well that is all for now. I will have some announcements and photos tomorrow. A little hint, we have a new addition to our family.
